Brought this to go across a 7 metre front, and then into the house via a window some 6 metres from the last bulb, reading the description it seemed to fit the bill
However the span of lights is only 4.5 metres and the very open control box is only 4metres from the last bulb, you then have another 6 metres of cable to the plug.

It looks very unsafe to leave the box outdoors and you would have to go outside to change the pattern.

If you only want to cover 4.
